Working with polyester resin

Haven't watched all of it yet - but I trust the referring source (MAKE magazine) ... Mixing Polyester Resin. Note that this video shows the use of both MEKP and Cabosil - two things that make me cringe from a health standpoint.

We use a differently-based resin ourselves - polyurethane resin. It's not nearly as toxic.

Cool video. That rolling pour technique was a new one on me!

Even though it's an informal video and he's experienced, I'm still surprised he wasn't even wearing gloves when the MEK showed up. Dang. :P

I'm going to try to stick to safer resins, myself. Still, good info to know.
