Working with polyester resin

Haven't watched all of it yet - but I trust the referring source (MAKE magazine) ... Mixing Polyester Resin. Note that this video shows the use of both MEKP and Cabosil - two things that make me cringe from a health standpoint.
We use a differently-based resin ourselves - polyurethane resin. It's not nearly as toxic.

I'm going to try to stick to safer resins, myself. Still, good info to know.

Polyurethane and epoxy resins are not that safe either!
They can cause contact sensitization...sorta like a MEGAALLERGY that can eventually result in not being able to even be in the same room as an open container of the stuff without a severe skin and respiratory reaction that can kill you....gloves and mask are a minimum.
