More wiki work
14 Jul 2014 11:50 amThis is mainly a record for myself; I don't think that most of y'all are terribly interested in the house wikis :)
Yesterday I spent some time updating various info and warning boxes to use Ambox/Imbox, since I can use those classes as a standard base now :) Still need to roll the old note and query boxes over, and make the patron path flow link boxes use Ambox as a basis. Yay for clarity and standardization!
Need to change some of my tag wrappers into templates instead, so they're easier to use. Need to make alternate names for some of the existing templates that were imported from other sources - the BlenderWiki's "shortcut/Keypress" mouthful should have the shorter (and clearer) "keytop" as an alternative, for instance.
Need to break my unwieldy special formatting help page into smaller, properly named pieces.
Need to add the most useful formatting help page as a sidebar link.
Need to make a gallery page of useful icons, so I can quit guessing about existing icons (and uploading unneeded variants). Yay standardization, again!
Need to do some minor maintenance and clean up a few cosmetic things - the shop wiki still doesn't have a logo, for instance.
Need to make sure that all this tweaking - and the available icon images - are the same across all three wikis. Once that's finally done, it should be easy to maintain going forward (and I can lock some of those pages down).
Oh, all this also prodded me into tracking down a solution for showing proper image thumbnails for .svg files in Windows. Now I can tell what they actually are :)
