The National Institute on Media and the Family has released their list of top ten games for 1998 2008. Of course, they say it's the list of the most offensive, violent, sex-filled video games inappropriate for kids, but I say that means they're at least worth a look ...

I have to say the list is laughable. But it's probably because I think the National Institute on Media and the Family is a joke. These people need to know kids aren't going to be buying these games by themselves, adults/young adults are. After all, kids are far more likely to get their hands on violent movies or books (Bible, anyone?) than actual video games. And yet, those types of media never seem to spark the moral outrage from these folks like video games do.
And do they need to hide the list from non-members? That's a lot of help to the parents they want to reach.
