The First Shoe Drops . . .

Well, I can finally talk about part of what's been going on . . . the negotiations to purchase Verdun Manor from Lance's father (after Lance's sudden death) fell through. Don't know if they will find another buyer who can meet their terms or not; I'm pretty sure they will not find one that will want to continue the park in the same direction.

At least that's once big source of stress that's gone now, for me and several friends who were trying to squeeze an improbable amount of money from a rock to try and do this. {{snuggles}} You all know who you were.

I'll still be out here with the four-legged wolves, at least for now.

I'm so sorry. I know we'd all been hoping for good news on that end. Perhaps he'll change his mind after another few months have passed?
