Genealogical Wanderings

I dabble in tracing my family's history. My maternal grandmother always said that she could trace back to Elder William Brewster (a passenger aboard the Mayflower), but the closest I could come to showing that was a connection to *a* Brewster family (not necessarily the right Brewster family, though I think it is).

This morning I managed to trace a solid connection back to John Howland, another passenger of the Mayflower, through my grandmother.

For the curious, I'm John Howland's 10th great-grandson.
