06 May 2009 Barbary Coast These brass markers for the Barbary Coast walking tour are scattered around downtown San Francisco, set into the sidewalk.

Someday I'll have to buy one of the two guidebooks for this tour and actually take it.

iPi soft releases their entry-level markerless motion capture software -- Windows only, price depends on the number of camera inputs ($950 for a two camera configuration, and goes up quickly). Haven't tried it, but sounds interesting.
