iPi soft releases their entry-level markerless motion capture software -- Windows only, price depends on the number of camera inputs ($950 for a two camera configuration, and goes up quickly). Haven't tried it, but sounds interesting.

The company says they've fixed the spine & neck stiffness since that demo. The software just went on sale to the public in the last few days, so expect a more current demo reel soonish. Third-party examples here.
