Friday Night :)
28 May 2004 06:12 pmWith two conventions (Anime and Sci-Fi) and an air show (at Moffett) down the hill, we're still staying up here and are going to enjoy the Boulder Creek Wine and Art Fair - tasting the wines, eating the foods, browsing the dealers room artist's stalls and watching the video rooms live bands. We live in easy walking distance, and I'm putting on a big pot of chili to eat after the fair closes each day. Yeah, I'll miss shopping the dealers tables for Digimon stuff, but we couldn't afford it on top of the convention costs, and this Fair has always had good memories for us. This will be the third year running we've been there :)
At some point
dark_fang and I will sneak out to see The Day After Tomorrow to check out the general mayhem and CGI wolves. Drop me a line if ya want to try and coordinate something.
Is there a group for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban shaping up next weekend? EDIT - it'll be showing at the Metreon in IMAX {nudge, nudge}!
We had a package going overseas come back (thank you customs, may we have another), so Tuesday (after Memorial Day, when the post office is closed) I'll get those white paws off again. To the paws new owner - they're coming :) I'll get pictures of them up ASAP.
A big {snug} to Tyger Cowboy out at Rocket City FurMeet - he's coordinating a display table for us out there.
Just filled the Jeep up at $2.24 a gallon.
Re-reading Charles de Lint's The Onion Girl.
Take the quiz: "Which Random Irish Gaelic Phrase Are You? "

Go n-eithe na peisteoga thu
Go n-eithe na peisteoga thu - 'May the worms eat you.' You're one sick bastard. When you die, you're going to to a very warm place. That is, if you don't already run it.
