Ah, you have to love the Daily Mail's headline ... "Climate change episode of Frozen Planet won't be shown in the U.S. as viewers don't believe in global warming."
Yes, it's a little misleading, as the BBC decided to offer two versions of the series for distribution -- six episodes without the climate change episode, and the full seven episode set. The Discovery Channel chose to run the six episode version -- even though they were part of the joint production of the full series. Discovery says the decision was due to "scheduling issues." Personally, I think the article is spot on that the reason was actually the "sensitive issue" of climate change in American politics.
There was a case of a Dutch broadcaster a few years ago removing all mention of evolution from another BBC documentary series, just to show that such censorship of "sensitive issues" does happen.
