ysengrinMedian home price in Santa Cruz county is now $747,000 ... and the Economic Policy Institute estimates 33.7% of Californians are living below a minimal family budget (and I'm thinking their estimated expenses are considerably lower than actual real-world numbers).
And that's two big reasons we're not setting up permanently here. Other areas we're considering have median home prices down around 20-25% of Santa Cruz's -- and available acreage (a must).
