More Pacific Rim

Gullermo Del Toro announced today that not only is a Pacific Rim theatrical sequel in the works (release date ~2017), but that there will be additional comic tie-ins *and* an animated series.

Rumor is the animated series will fill in the period between the first comic and the movie.
