Father Ted is back ...

Not the BBC comedy, but the virulently homophobic New Life megachurch pastor who swore to never preach again after admitting to having meth & sex with a gay prostitute (on multiple occasions, according to the prostitute).

"Tiger Woods needs to golf. Michael Vick needs to be playing football. Ted Haggard needs to be leading a church." He also says that the meth & sex was just a massage that went awry.

"I over-repented," he said.

"If I was arrogant, I would have gotten a job in a farm bureau co-op somewhere in Iowa, changed my name and never been heard from again." Ted goes on to say he founded his new church as an act of humility. (You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.)

I'm not surprised Ted Haggard is back running a church -- anybody can throw up a pulpit -- but I am surprised he's already gathered up over three hundred followers.
