Yep, I'm happy to see that the One True Path™ folks are in the minority at 24%. The survey shows them concentrated more in Alabama(36%), Mississippi(35%), and North and South Carolina(32% and 31%), though there's not much variation across the board by state. Not surprisingly, the Jehovah's Witnesses(80%), nondenominational Evangelical(58%) and Mormons(57%) lead the parade.
I'm also happy to see that the Bible-as-literal-word-of-God folks are a minority overall, though 33% of the total population is still pretty high. The Church of God(75%) and various Baptist denominations(68-52%, Southern Baptist 63%) lead the pack. There's a much larger spread by state, too, with Mississippi(64%) in the lead followed by the rest of the deep South(54-51%) and West Virginia(53%).
The lowest percentages of both are generally in the Northeast -- and Alaska.
