Back on line

... and we have power again. It came up very briefly about 5:30 am -- about twenty seconds -- and we had a severe brownout for the first couple of minutes this time, but it seems that it'll be up for a while now.

Twenty-nine hours for this outage, and a lot of storm damage in the area. Worst we personally had was a 4" limb that put some gouges in the roof, but we saw one house with a 3' diameter redwood that fell across (and through) it.

Lot of roads were closed yesterday due to flooding and downed trees; DarkFang took the jeep down into San Jose today, instead of the miata, so I don't know how things are today.

EDIT: Looks like we got a little over eight inches of rain over the last two days. The National Weather Service says the highest recorded wind gust up here in the mountains was 105 MPH.

We've also had one severe brownout around 4:30, so we may still lose power again. More storms for the next few days, but nothing like Friday's.

I was also hoping to have new images for this year, but the weather kept us from going out in suit yesterday.
