Been busy lately, so the posts have been fewer ... as for the subject line:
I've got a scan of a hand drawn map of historical interest, with fairly legible hand-lettered comments on the map. I'm re-creating the map for use in a lightbox-style exhibit. The map should be legible to the English-speaking (and hopefully reading) visitors, however the original notes are all in French. My French isn't up to puzzling out the (short) descriptive notes - would anybody like to take a shot at it? I'm afraid the only payment I can offer is being credited as the translator on the exhibit map.
The map will *only* be used in the exhibit - it will not be sold.
