President Bush said Monday it was a "shameful act" for someone to disclose that he has secretly allowed anti-terrorism wiretaps and e-mail intercepts without court orders ...

Ah, there was an existing framework for getting court orders for wiretaps and intercepts - even after the fact - created specifically for cases of national security. Bypassing that court with a hearty "I'm above the law" was the shameful act.

18 December 2005 Remembrance - Here's a photo from one of the Dallas Fantasy Fairs back in the 1990's. That's Lance Pope as Yellowfang and Ysengrin as Silvermane. Three years ago from yesterday [17 Dec], Lance Pope passed quietly away at his home.
