I was a computer science student of the City Computer Technology, Benin City, Nigeria before I recently lost both parents to a ghastly motor accident ... after the death of my parents, I started staying with my dad sister, that was when my problems started ... she has been trying to persuade me into prostitution, 3 of her daughters are prostituting in Europe, but I told her that I want to continue my studies, she frowned at all my plead to get money from her to resume school ... I don't have any money to pay for my school fees which is N25,500 which is equilvanlent [sic] to $250 ... if I dedicate my time and become well educated that I will become great ... please just take me as your sister ...

Well, there's a University of Benin, but their web page hurts my eyes with the flashing. I couldn't find anything about their tuition in a quick look around, and nothing about a "City Computer Technology." They might have a comp sci department buried in their engineering department, but I couldn't find it.

Sounds like they're trying for many small donations instead of one massive one, and playing on a different set of sympathies. I think the "please just take me as your sister" innuendo after rambling on about prostitution was unintended (and made me spray coffee out my nose).

Last week's PotW did go up last Sunday; this week's is lagging while I try to get stuff done in the shop ...
