Housing Market Says ...

Median home price in Santa Cruz county is now $747,000 ... and the Economic Policy Institute estimates 33.7% of Californians are living below a minimal family budget (and I'm thinking their estimated expenses are considerably lower than actual real-world numbers).

And that's two big reasons we're not setting up permanently here. Other areas we're considering have median home prices down around 20-25% of Santa Cruz's -- and available acreage (a must).

Some days, I really, really, really wish I could talk Sean into looking at Arizona. Boston is even more expensive than California, and that blows me away.

Holy crap... and do think here in london, ontario the average price is under 300,000... and in nova scotia its under 2!

Thats just not right. I mean I know its all about location, but damn...
