... for Gothic, that wonderfully visual film with Lord Bryon, the Shelleys and Dr. Polidori apparently tripping their nuts off while staying at Villa Diodati. Also a big thank you to Thomas Dolby for the wonderful soundtrack.

EDIT: Yes, I know Mary Shelley didn't have nuts. It's a metaphor. Besides, the story she wrote after being inspired at Villa Diodati has well withstood the test of time (Dr. Polidori's not so much, though he's inspired many other authors).
