Movieland Wax Museum closing

The Movieland Wax Museum in Southern California - the one just a couple of blocks from Knotts Berry Farm - has announced it is closing forever October 31st.

I've got good memories about visiting there in years past with Lance and the Verdun managers. I'm sorry that DarkFang and I decided to skip visiting there last week because we were ill - and because we thought it would be there in the future. There's no way I could get back down there before they close.

Neverland will be up for sale ...

... no price yet - and it's gonna be steep. But how often can you buy 3000 acres including a zoo and your own personal amusement park? Michael Jackson is apparently changing his country of residence to Bahrain; his staff has already removed the animals from the Neverland zoo and his financial advisors expect the estate to be on the market shortly.

Watch, some fundamentalist group will buy it and turn it into Jesusland II (the first one went bankrupt, y'know).
