Your cash is no good here

Apple decides that cash is not an acceptable payment for an iPhone.

While I can understand limiting things like paying for an iPhone in pennies, totally banning cash transactions for a purchase just strikes me as fundamentally wrong.

So much for legal tender. :/

That's ridiculous, It's like all these Visa commercials on TV where it's a *bad* thing to pay by cash / check nowadays. If any store tells me I can't pay cash, forget it, they won't get my business.

Looks like the saying 'legal tender' now means tinder for the BBQ.

Well, they can not track you and your transactions when you pay with cash.

If they don't want to take my money, then I will find someone else to do business with instead.

I used to have respect for Apple. What do THEY care how I pay for the phone so long as I pay for it? Someone sends them back to Europe - again, what does Apple care? I buy it, it's my property and I can do with it as I like.
