Oh, and some of you were surprised that I'm a Pern addict. I'll also now publicly admit to being an Atevi junkie and a fan of Valdemar.

I wasn't that impressed with the Freedom series - I don't know why but I kept thinking of Battlefield Earth the whole time I was reading the three books . . . I did like the Doona books though ...
