Former President Jimmy Carter states voting arrangements in Florida do not meet "basic international requirements." Mr. Carter has been an official observer to several non-US elections.

On polls: two different pollsters released numbers for Ohio yesterday - one showing Bush ahead 52% to 43%, another showing them dead even. Is the margin of error in the polls really that large? If it is, then remember to take *all* polls with a very large grain of salt ... (and, no, I don't usually follow the polls. Just having that much variance makes me raise an eyebrow.)

Oh, and the best poll of all - Sylvester Stallone’s mom has dogs with psychic powers, and they predict George Bush by 15%:

Using super canine mental powers, they “channel messages from the spirit world and telepathically send them to me,” Mama Stallone has said. She theorizes that her dogs’ unusual talent comes from sleeping on Islamic prayer rugs.
