Mostly from the Fortean Times breaking news site.

HERE - Cambodian baby born with 10cm tail - apparently with bones (most human tails are just flaps of skin and muscle).

HERE - 1000 bottles of radioactive waste (mostly tritium) were found in a lab at Tokushima University in southern Japan; apparently they'd been collecting there since 1976.

HERE, with pictures - Highest observed tornado in the US - July 7, 2004, (above) Rockwell Pass, Sequoia National Park, California ... estimated touchdown at 12,000 feet elevation

Back to the workshop :)

Officials were tipped off by an anonymous caller that home construction had turned up human remains . . . There are between 30 and 60 graves . . . estimated to be 3,500 to 4,000 years old . . . This could be a major archaeological find . . .

Did the contractor just not notice?

. . . but it could also be a major problem for the homeowner . . .

I'd certainly want to know about 30-60 graves in my yard. Disturbed graves, at that.

. . . some human bones were visible in the concrete poured for the home's foundation.

OK, I guess the contractor just didn't care. Kudos to the anonymous tipster, and hope the contractor gets roasted.

Article is here.

And now I'm really back to the workshop :)
