Yes, it's a panda.


Well, Blizzard has made the Pandarians very expressive (especially compared to the last couple of new races). Males are quite chubby, whereas females are ample rather than rotund. Unexpectedly, female Pandarians also have optional tails ... oh, and did I mention there are several reddish color schemes as well as the standard black-and-white?

Yep - they're a playable race in the next World of Warcraft expansion. That's a screenshot from the current beta test.

Quite cute. :) I wonder if they're deliberately trying to provide something for the furry crowd there, or whether that's just a side effect.
